IRONICALLY, or rather, coincidentally, the Titanic set sail on 10 April, today, 98 years ago.

well, i say, "I Have A Plan".
In response to the problem of depleting class funds, i have decided to apply my pw skills to amalgamate. whats better than merging a box office hit and the coolest class to act out the famous scene from ~titanic~? its going to be
EPIC.
we will have
the male lead, Jack;
the female lead, Rose;
all the violinists + band members to play the signature theme song;
while the remaining will be in charge of props + stage direction + everything not.
oh, and most importantly, bringing hats tosolicit seek for donations of all forms (food and in kind) from the audience.
such a great way to earn some ka-ching// fill our stomachs isnt it?
and wow, we get to take home some learning points too!
1. create awareness of the Titanic
2. learn from mistakes from the disaster (not be complacent yadda yadda)
3. the power of everlasting, self-sacrificial love
4. public spiritedness. As involved in the community as always, we will donate 5% of our earnings to Singapore Association for Counselling. we all know some lost souls need help.
5. entrepreneurship skills - heeding the Singapore's call for more bold, risk taking people.
so, application begins now!!!!!
start applying to be the dearest self-sacrificial Jack or strongwilled Rose!
there is no criteria to be either character - meaning, cross dressing is totally allowed.
well, quick send your applications through telegram!

STJ is finally here! I know many have been waiting expectantly, so here are the details:
Target: Abner's House (66 Jalan Dermawan)
Date: 11th April (Sunday)
Time: 5pm-10pm
All those who can meet at 4.30pm, please go to the Al-Ameen bus stop, aka the one opposite Beauty World Center. We will take bus 173 from there. BUS PARTY.
We will be revealing Angel and Mortal on that day, so do bring along your gifts for revealing. Anyway the highlight isn't so much of the revealing, but it is the GIFTS :D so better start buying your gifts now. Or you can wait till saturday.
Other than A&M revealing, there's also guitar hero, ping pong, and a big open space. So do come down and have a night of alcohol enjoyment and fun!
For those who will be going late and cannot join the group, the directions are in the pictures below so don't get lost because no one will come and find you!

BIKE HIKE
Hey everyone,
Bike Hike is BACK! The theme for this year is Accelebration, as we celebrate the joys of cycling along with Singapore’s hosting of the YOG. Held on the 28-29th May, this year’s bike hike promises to be BIGGER and BETTER, with more participants from all JCs around Singapore coming together to break once again the Singapore record (that we ourselves set in 2009) for the largest number of people in an overnight cycling event.
For those of you who are new to Bike Hike, it is an annual cycling event held by Hwa Chong OAC and Tiong Bahru CC, in which you will get to cycle, along with your friends, through a route of 80km around Singapore. There will be sufficient rest stops along the way for you to hydrate and refresh yourselves as well.
Look forward to a night of fun, accompanied by views of the beautiful night landscape as we wind our way past notable landmarks such as the Singapore River, the Singapore flyer, Haw Par Villa and more. We’ve also kept some of the familiar thrills from last year such as the adrenaline-rush inducing down slope from the old race track, fondly referred to as Initial D.
Also, expect collaterals and freebies from our sponsors Zouk, PreciousThots and many more, as well as the LIMITED EDITION Accelebration T-shirt that comes with your goodie bag! So hesitate no more, form your groups, and submit your registration forms to any friendly OAC member today!

Hi 6C!
with utmost regret, i have to announce that after tomorrow, we will have finished ALL the food that we "earned" from cross country. this is due to the fact that our class is made up of hungry "ghosts" who keep telling me to bring MORE food. bringing MORE food per day = the food supply depletes FASTER = you will have nothing to eat sooner.
And guys (you know who you are), please me gentlemanly and don't gobble up all the food on your own/ keep taking what i passed to the girls. take the initiative to pass them to the girls next time. (: they want food too. majority of the time, the girls are left with nothing to eat because you all polished it all up. dont say that its because the girls dont want ok! if you pass it to them, they do take!
